Saturday Swatching: The Polish Bar

Saturday 1 March 2014

Hello beauts!
I fancied keeping it in the pastel family with this mani after those new Barry M Gelly swatches yesterday... A yet untried indie 'Open Sky' was the chosen one. I loved Cloudy Skies, also from The Polish Bar, so was looking forward to trying this one very much. I added a few simple light fluffy clouds which I love to see high up in an open sky :) This indie is a sheer pale blue with a mix of white, pastel green and purple hexes and glitter, it's a stunner! Changed up the accent nail, this time it's on the middle rather than ring finger.

I achieved this look with two coats of Barry M Blue Moon, followed by just one coat of the open sky. I was really impressed with the smooth sheen this indie gave and the mix of pastel colours in the pale blue base it just gorgeous. I simply sponged on the fluffy clouds with a white polish and finished of with a topcoat. Lovely simple mani for what was, a lovely sunny day today :)
